Ways to Give

Cash

The majority of gifts received by Triangle Day School are in the form of cash contributions for which donors, depending on their individual financial circumstances, may receive tax benefits. Gifts of cash may be put to immediate use by the school for programs, endowment and projects. Checks should be made payable to Triangle Day School.

Credit Card

Triangle Day School accepts MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express. You may choose to make your gift using our secure web server by clicking on "Online Giving" under "Support Our School". If you prefer to make a gift by phone please call Shannon Leskin, Director of Development

Corporate Matching Gifts

Many companies have matching gift programs which contribute to independent schools like Triangle Day School. Please check with your company to see if it offers a matching gift program.

Appreciated Securities

A gift of appreciated securities is a way to save taxes and make a gift at the same time. To learn more about making a gift of securities, please call Kathryn Lundstrom, Head of School.

Other Property

Gifts-In-Kind are tangible items such as works of art, equipment, books, furniture, antiques, real estate and similar non-monetary contributions. A gift of tangible property may result in a tax deduction for the donor, with the amount of the deduction determined by whether or not the gift meets the “related use” test.

Deferred Gifts and Bequests

Many donors discover that they can make a substantial gift to Triangle Day School through a bequest provision, a life income gift or a trust. We can provide details about the many types of testamentary or life income gifts. There are tax advantages associated with each type of gift and individuals should seek the advice of their own financial advisors before creating or revising an estate plan.
